Due to growth, KE&G Construction is hiring an HR Generalist for a challenging and growth-focused work environment. As an HR Generalist, you must lean in and build trusting relationships throughout the organization.
KE&G is seeking an HR Generalist with the ability to approach HR and Process Improvement matters skillfully. Reporting to the Controller but with a dotted line to other executives, this key team member will be responsible for:

- Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives.
- Oversee and make recommendations on the recruitment processes with the ELT.
- Work alongside different Construction and Administrative Divisions to accelerate hiring, promote retention, and discipline employees.
- Identify opportunities for human capital sourcing.
- Own and manage job postings and job description templates for various divisions.
- Serve as the intermediary for conflict management and resolution.
- Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies upon approval of executives.
- Provide support to employees on various HR-related topics, such as leaves and compensation, and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates.
- Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews.
- Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits, and organizing team-building activities.
- Work with the Benefits Department and to ensure compliance with labor regulations such as FMLA and others.
- Experience in the Construction Industry a big plus!
- Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
- Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
- Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g., Vista View Point) will be a plus
- Excellent communication and people skills
- BSc/BA in Business administration or relevant field
